Chris Niebergall is an Artist/Musician and Mycologist based on the PNW coast.
As a hermit/introvert, his creations are inspired by what he finds speaking to him in nature. He came into this world crawling into speakers as Classical music played. He picked up the guitar at age 12 and was entranced by the didjeridu in 2003 which was like a reunion with something innately familiar. In 2005, he was gifted a Traditional didjeridu. As there wasn’t anyone guide him at the time, he’d try to find ways to play the music that what was in his head continuously. He journeyed into the woods for the sounds and rhythms of nature to guide and teach him. Since, he has learned from deep listening and has also apprenticed with renowned Didjeridu Master Shine Edgar. Chris spends his time playing and crafting his own Didgeridoos, making them available for others to enjoy and experience the profound sound. He is also focused on capturing music and releasing it under the moniker Hein d’Gardn. He plays guitar and didgeridoo in Heofon and is the author of Ardila in the land of goblin. When he is not making music or didgeridoos, Chris can be found in the garden or forest, writing, drawing or studying mushrooms. |
